Design & art direction

At GoPro, I designed digital creative for product launches, services and community initiatives. Email was my primary focus, including a modular system I designed and built to make production faster and more consistent. As part of a small digital team, my work also spanned websites, landing pages and platform experiences, helping bring new products and services to market.

Selected GoPro work

Launch email series

HERO5 Launch Emails

My contribution

I designed the HERO5 launch email series using a modular email library I had redesigned and built for GoPro. The library replaced one-off, developer-coded emails with reusable layouts, allowing the CRM team to assemble new emails faster. HERO5 was one of the first launches to use the new system.

Website design

GoPro for a Cause

My contribution

I designed the GoPro for a Cause website from the ground up to spotlight nonprofit organizations using GoPro cameras to share their work. The site paired compelling imagery with stories about each organization’s mission, giving visitors a way to explore the causes and learn about the people behind them. Across the overview and individual partner pages, the design brought these stories together into a cohesive experience intended to inspire GoPro’s broad audience and encourage donations.

Launch email series

Karma Launch

My contribution

I designed the Karma launch email series for GoPro’s move beyond its core camera lineup. With a new product came the opportunity to develop fresh creative, introducing the drone through product imagery, lifestyle scenes and feature-focused layouts. I designed all eight emails shown here using the modular library I had built for GoPro, carrying a consistent visual approach from the launch announcement through product education, getting-started content and accessories.

Print & digital guide

Hero 4 Session guide

My contribution

I was the sole designer of the HERO4 Session mounting guide, created for both print and digital PDF. The camera’s new form factor allowed it to be mounted in different orientations, creating questions about how to position and use it. I designed the guide to make those options easier to understand, organizing compatible mounts and accessories alongside product imagery and examples of the camera in use.

Lifecycle email series

GoPro PLUS

My contribution

I designed all 13 emails for the GoPro Plus service launch using the modular email system I had created for GoPro. The series introduced cloud storage and access to GoPro photos across devices, alongside the service’s software features and member benefits. From free-trial invitations and onboarding to product discounts and renewal reminders, I used the reusable layouts to explain a broad offering through product imagery and lifestyle photography.

Community website design

Support Hub

My contribution

I designed the GoPro Support Hub as a place for users to ask questions, share knowledge and help one another get more from their cameras, mounts and accessories. Working independently on the design, I established the foundation for a community experience on GoPro’s website, connecting product-specific support with conversations between users. The hub grew into a social community, with gamification added later as the platform expanded.

Landing page design

GoPro Awards

My contribution

I designed the GoPro Awards landing page to help users capture and submit photos and footage for potential use on GoPro’s channels. The initiative invited the community to share their work, with the possibility that GoPro would purchase rights to selected content. I organized the page as a field guide, bringing together shooting basics, practical tips and technical camera guidance to help users prepare their submissions.

Additional Work

My contribution

A selection of additional emails, screens, landing pages and compositions I created during my time at GoPro. The work spans product launches, promotions, support and internal communications, with each piece responding to its own brief. Together, they show the range of my hands-on digital design work across the brand.
