Karma was GoPro’s attempt at breaking into the drone market. While the product had a short lifespan, the times leading up the launch of Karma were quite exciting. As lead email designer I was responsible for the Karma launch email series. This series went through the product introduction, features, app(s), educational videos and product accessories – all of which were new products/content being released in tandem with Karma. The emails leveraged a new email template redesign which was modular in nature. This was developed to assist the CRM team and their increasing need to expedite email deployments and develop lifecycle email series across the brand and multiple products. Overall this email campaign was a great success… even if the product wasn’t.
